What is the SRNS basket raffle?

The SRNS basket raffle is the Nursery School’s one and only fundraiser.  This year, we are celebrating springtime basket raffle fun and know that with your support, it will be a year of baskets to remember.

Where do the proceeds go?

All proceeds go toward the very important tuition assistance fund of Saint Raphael’s Nursery School, which allows local families the opportunity to benefit from the nurturing early child care education our school has to offer.  Funds also support classroom improvements.

How does the Nursery School procure basket items?

We rely on the support and generosity of our many SRNS families and friends throughout the community.

Sounds like a great cause, how can I help?

If you are a nursery school family and would like to make a monetary or item donation, please record your pledge on the sign up sheets posted by your child’s classroom. Please see our 2016 Basket Themes on the main page!

If you are a business or member of the community that is interested in contributing, please contact the Basket Raffle co-chairs.

Should I purchase an item or donate money?

Many of our wish list items are “big” donations.  For this reason, monetary donations are very much needed and appreciated!! A suggested donation of $20 per family would truly make this year’s basket collections incredible. Please get in touch with your class rep if you have a donation contact or lead for a fabulous basket item.  Class reps are listed with basket themes on the reverse.

Can I only donate to my class basket?

For motivation and collaboration purposes, each class has been assigned a specific basket.  However, you are not limited to that basket!  If you have a great item, idea, or specific monetary donation, please just let your class rep know! 

Who are my class reps and what will they be contacting me about?

Class reps will be in contact with you shortly to introduce themselves and to motivate you along the way!  Look to them to help answer questions, relay suggestions, and collect donations.  Their donation sign up sheets will be outside classroom doors soon.

When do I get to see these fabulous baskets?

The baskets will be on display in the school lobby beginning on Monday, May 2nd.  We will also display them after Masses during a weekend in May. 

They are a sight worth waiting for!

How can I purchase tickets?

Tickets will come home in your child’s bag on Monday, May 2nd or Tuesday, May 3rd.  You will also be able to purchase them online, at the school, after St. Raphael's Masses, as well as during the End of Year Nursery School Picnic before the grand drawing on Tuesday, May 17th.  Anyone can purchase a ticket and win!

When is the raffle drawing?

The Raffle Drawing has traditionally been held during the Nursery School End-of-Year picnic, this year scheduled for Tuesday, May 17th.  You do not need to be present to win!  Best of luck to everyone and we will notify winners in person, by phone, and recognize them on our website.
